Paul is a member of the data science practice at The Policy Lab and also Director of Scientific Computing and Data Science at Brown University. He oversees support for data-intensive computing, machine learning, informatics, reporting, and analytics through the Data Science practice team, and supports a number of projects at The Policy Lab.
Prior to Brown, Paul worked as a Mathematical Statistician at the US Environmental Protection Agency. He holds a PhD in Developmental Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and completed undergraduate work at The Ohio State University.
